SCULPTING WITH CONCRETE
Spend an afternoon creating a concrete planter or sculpture for your garden with concrete artist Todd Carr. Todd will begin with a demonstration explaining techniques he has learned over the years from hours of trial and error experimentation. Unlike working with hypertufa, Todd prefers the strength / resilience and options that unaltered mixed concrete provides.
All tips tricks and techniques will be demonstrated from mixing and curing the mixture to sculpting leaves, planters, sculptures, faux boi and more! Each student will be able to create a leaf and a type of planter of their choosing.
Take these skills learned with you to your garden or studio for years to come!

The finished works will not be ready to take home the same day as the workshop. We will hold your pieces in our studio until you can return to pick them up.
The following day, (next afternoon) we will unveil and discuss techniques to finish your pieces for students who can return to the shop.
